seriously i expect things will stay the same as custom titles go to people who put in time working the site or contributing to it.

That was my point, I know if there was a topic i wanted to search for, found a thread on it - and had another question - id get yelled at if i made a new thread so i would think it would be better to use that one, but that doesn't work either.

Plus i don't really see a rule against it...if they don't want people to post on them then thy might as well be closed in my opinion.

These titles are based on your post count.
But when you contribute to the site, you get a green name, and become a site contributor(duh!). A site contributor can change their titles to their liking. It's like a reward.

Have I missed something? I see several users have new titles. Have new post count titles been added for the higher numbers?

Hang on...are they just names assigned to single users (long time users)? That would be my guess.

Very interesting indeed.

Looking at the Members List, it appears they might have introduced new titles that may or may not be based on length of Guru membership. It's kinda hard to tell though because a lot of people up there are mods and/or have custom titles.
